Komodo Edit Portable 5.1.3a builds on the 5.1.3 release adding profile corruption checking. If your computer crashes while running Komodo Edit Portable the next time you run Komodo Edit Portable you will be notified of the corruption and instructed on how to fix it, this will prevent you losing your settings. EMAMP (Easy Mac Apache MySQL PHP) version 0.4 has been released.

It includes the following changes:
Added support for PostgreSQL
Altered the update system to use Mac installer files.
Added an auto-start option to run emamp when the computer starts so you don't have to input your password.

Additionally PostgreSQL 8.3.7 has been compiled and configured for EMAMP as well as PHPPGAdmin 4.2.2, these can both be installed via the EMAMP Web download interface.

Komodo Edit Portable 5.1.3 has been released, this is a bug fix release see http://docs.activestate.com/komodo/5.1/releases/ide.html for details.

You can download it from http://www.komodoeditportable.com to upgrade from 5.1.1 just install as normal it won't overwrite your preferences.

Easy Mac Apache MySQL PHP (EMAMP) has been released on public beta, EMAMP allows you to install apache mysql php and phpmyadmin as modules which are completely separate and can be removed/upgraded at any time.

I have created a portable version of Komodo Edit 5.1.1 this version runs concurrently with version 4.4.1 and 5.0.2, you can download it here, any questions/problems/comments feel free to contact me

A new project is under development E.M.A.M.P Easy Mac Apache MySQL PHP a development webserver and database environment designed for mac.

A new project has been created, Drupal Updater.

Drupal updater is a unix shell script that can download, extract and update drupal core installations and modules from a single command.

It has been tested on drupal 6 in a linux and mac environment.
