Komodo Edit Portable is a version of Komodo Edit from Active State, with a program which alteres various variables and files to allow the program to be run from a usb stick running portable apps. Versions 4.4.1, 5.0.2 and 5.1.3 Note on upgrading versions: Versions 4.4.1, 5.0.2 and 5.1.3 can all be run concurrently to copy your preferences from one to another use the following instructions.
- Open the folder where the version you want to copy is installed i.e. X:/PortableApps/ActiveStateKomodoEditPortable5/
- In this folder open the Data directory, you will see either a folder named 4.4, 5.0 or 5.1 depending on your version, copy this folder to the folder where the new version is
- Rename the folder to either 4.4 if you are copying to 4.4.1, 5.0 for 5.0.2 or 5.1 for 5.1.3
- Launch the new version
Note not all preferences may copy if they don't copy you will have to set them up again

- Used UPX to compress all .dll, .exe files etc.
