Komodo Edit Portable is a version of Komodo Edit from Active State, with a program which alteres various variables and files to allow the program to be run from a usb stick running portable apps. Versions 4.4.1, 5.0.2 and 5.1.3 Note on upgrading versions: Versions 4.4.1, 5.0.2 and 5.1.3 can all be run concurrently to copy your preferences from one to another use the following instructions.

1. Open the folder where the version you want to copy is installed i.e. X:/PortableApps/ActiveStateKomodoEditPortable5/
2. In this folder open the Data directory, you will see either a folder named 4.4, 5.0 or 5.1 depending on your version, copy this folder to the folder where the new version is
3. Rename the folder to either 4.4 if you are copying to 4.4.1, 5.0 for 5.0.2 or 5.1 for 5.1.3
4. Launch the new version

Note not all preferences may copy if they don't copy you will have to set them up again
